Today's F@cked Buyer (Boca Raton)

I found this foreclosure being discussed on the Palm Beach Post message boards. It has seen a 57% decrease in price from its 2004 purchase price and shows the biggest loss of all "F@cked Buyer" listed on this site to date. For some reason, it shows up on the Ziprealty and the linked Expert Realty sites, but is not showing up in Realtor.com.

3720 S OCEAN BLVD # 207, Boca Raton, FL 33431

I need your help with this daily feature. Do you know of a F@cked Buyer? Just add the MLS number or the FSBO link in the comments section and I will add it to an this daily update in the future.

It seems the same law firm is preparing these deeds for these huge losses in PB County. The law firm is in Melbourne, which is a hike from PB County, and they also have really recording dates between the earlier sale for 1/2 what the next sale is going for.

Something is weird here and it doesn't add up.

Anon,

Can you clarify your comment? I don't understand what you are trying to say.

Admin,

Did you see the one in Lighthouse Point I posted a while back?
A dry lot home sold for $529?
Now on market for $364?

I'm guessing at actual figures.

Welcome back, you were missed.

140 dollars,

I have a bunch of reader-supplied "F@cked Buyers." I'll be adding them in the coming days now that I am back.

Look at the law firm for this deed as well.

This is a Fort Lauderdale property using the same law firm in Melbourne.

Is the developer the same? There are probably over 100 real estate lawyers in just Broward. Why do both of these listings with gargatuan losses with fairly recent previous sales that were much lower use a law firm over an hour's drive north?
Same developer? How did the 2nd buyer not realize the almost doubling of the market price in such a small time frame?
