The condo market across Dade County is already getting crushed even while thousands of brand new condos are hitting the market. Still, they expect people to spend $178,800 for a 443-square-foot, one-bedroom apartment? Sorry, this isn't Manhattan or San Francisco.
7326 Collins Av Unit: 207, Miami Beach, FL 33141
1 Bed, 1 Bath Condo
Bought in May 2006 for $205,000
On the MLS for $178,800
Days on the MLS: 38 Days
Loss before the Realtor® commission: $26,200
Loss after the Realtor® commission: $36,928
New request: I am looking to add "buyers" that have multiple distressed properties for sale. If you know of any, please provide a link or MLS listing to one of their properties. I want to highlight some of speculators that were caught holding multiple properties.

The asking price on this condo is a hefty $402/square foot, which seems high for this North Beach neighborhood.
Wake up seller, i could rent that for 700 a month...

In all fairness, it's across the street from the beach so it works as a weekender for someone who just wants a small place with great beach access.
J,
Or, for less money, you could rent a four-star hotel room every weekend for far less money. You won't have to clean your sheets and they'll give you fresh towels daily. You can also crank the AC to 65 degrees and not worry about the electric bill.
And, at 443 square-feet, you'll probably get more room in your hotel room.
Best of all, you won't own a depreciating asset!
