How about today's F@cked community. Again another month of Mortgage fraud in South Florida as realtors, appraisers and blind eyed mortgage brokers let it happen. Why you say? The game of giving money back at closing..example.MLS #f778165 listed at $279K sold $450K!!!, MLS #D1189148 listed $325 sold $345K!!! MLS #F814544 Listed $499K sold at $515K, MLS #761910 Listed $789K sold $$815!!! and so on..this is just the month of July. These kinds of games create a false reading on the true value of a property and make it harder for sellers to sell their home..
A buck and a half for a "condo" on Dixie Highway? LOL. MOre like an ex crack haid's apartment with new appliances.
Worth 35K at most.
I've noticed that as well on some of the homes I've been watching. I'm surprised people are actually still buying cause the home's I'm watching are in the low 300 range which means they're hell-holes
I've noticed that the higher priced, nicer homes are falling from the 600's to the low 500s or high 400's. I also still see total crap in the low 300's where I'm looking. The problem is that people think median price means average. All these folks think their house is worth at least average. Hence total crap below 360-380k.
folks
jumbo loan 30 yr fixed has jumped to about 8%.
that is right 8%.
---------------------
broward median has to drop to ~200k.
The recent increase in interest rates just adds one more nail in a coffin. At this point, it's overkill.
A hurricane at this point will completely devistate what ever is left.
